Mission Statement

The Solano County SPCA is dedicated to finding a loving responsible home for every adoptable animal in Solano County.  We also strive to reduce pet overpopulation and surrender rates by providing education to the public.

Objectives

1. Increase the placement of animals into loving responsible homes.

2. Provide, monitor and maintain programs to reduce companion animals overpopulation and euthanasia.

3. Provide education to the public to enhance the understanding of and compassion for companion animals.

4. Establish an exemplary animal welfare program dedicated to excellence in animal sheltering.

5. Provide Humane education programs to schools and youth organizations to ensure that our future generations will understand and share our compassion for the animals that share our world.

6.  Help reduce euthanasia rates of adoptable animals in the community by transfering animals from municipal shelters.
